A bit of a change from the norm with the young-uns but it's enraging me more than usual.

Man I hate young people, even more rubbish spouted by these teen know-it-alls than from the trade union types the other week.

I'm only 25 but fk-me these lot are a wasted generation.

I now know what my Uni lecturer meant when he said: "employ a teenager while they still no everything"

Thoughts?

Not watching it but are they all brainwashed climate change believers and so scared of the polar bears not having any ice to live on and so worried by all the nasty speeders.

If so it's a shame Torchwood is fiction, giving them up as part of the 10% to an alien race would be a very good thing indeed.

There are couple who have spoken intelligently but the rest seem to have got their opinions by joining groups on Facebook or listening to acts at Glasto'.

The young lady on the panel is very good though.

And although she is occasionally awfully right on, I do think that Shami Chakrabarti is always an articulate, coherent and convincing contributor to the programme.

I blame it on the education system. if you have an enquiring mind and you dare to question and be acive. You are excluded..
if you have an above average IQ the statutory education doesnt accomodate.

If you have an above average IQ you should be able to think of something to do on Friday night apart from drinking yourself stupid, which is what the item was about...

A few months ago BBC Parliament showed some of their TV coverage of the 1966 General Election. One part of the coverage included a "vox pop" of young people in Liverpool. One of the constant gripes coming from the kids was that there wasn't enough for young people to do and why weren't the government doing something about it.

Plus ca change.
