I had Chips-Away call around and quote me on repairing the niggles with the exterior of the 'Ro. He was unable to spray the handles as they have NO primer so he said the new paint would only end up coming off. So I am now going to source some nee handles, anyone got an idea where I can get them from?

He said he could fix the rear spoiler wear issue for around £175.

I'm going to see if the lad that sprayed my wheels will fix the boot and spray the spare handles at the same time, for me to fit at a later date.

I think Vaux should honour warranty work for handles that had NO primer when fitted.

Could you not get your wheel man to strip, prime and respray the handles already on the car?

I purchased a second hand door handle from an Omega which is metal for a £5 from a scrap yard on Tuesday, went down to the local spray shop and they charged me £50 cash to re-spray it, fitted myself yesterday with minimal effort yesterday, took about an hour all together and £55 later, not bad, have the old handle which im going to spray myself but got a feeling the new metal one won't be a problem.

Good luck.

I could get the 'wheel man' to remove, strip, prep, prime and spray, however I need the car come midday Sunday, the boot could be done in a day but having the handles done too it would be tight.
