Bought this ages ago - infact i think i got it with my xbox last feb.

Not played on it for ages, stick it intoday and had to download a hell of a lot of data for an update.

Well worth it though.

Motorbikes and extra levels all for free!

Good work Criterion and EA.

Anyone else play? - i'm quite enjoying it again.

I was thinking about it the other night.

I'm torn though as to which driving game to finish?

Burnout
Sega Rally
PGR4
Grid
Fuel
Forza 2

They are all uncompleted at present.

i have Burnout Paradise (for the PS3 mind), and i'm trying to finish all the freeburn and timed challenges....

trouble is there are far too many plebs online who either wont do the challenges, do nothing but takedown others who are trying to do the challenges, or just quit 30secs after a challenge has started (which cancels the challenge!)

furious

Thread from the dead - https://blog.us.playstation.com/2018/02/20/burnout...

trailer is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XszzsHprRFY

For me this is still the best open world driving game around, with great driving dynamics and a solid mix of different vehicles and tons to do. It's one of my most played games and I am actually excited about a PS4 game for the first time in about a year.

Pre-ordered mine already! smile

Bit cheeky really, as Xbox 360 version was compatible with Xbox One (one of the games on the converted list). And they now want £35 for basically the same game with nicer graphics.

However really enjoyed that game previously so will wait till it is more like £15.

That's excellent news - really enjoyed this on PS3 I just wish the crash stuff in it was as good as the earlier Burnout games.

I'm surprised they're doing a remastered version, or allowed the original to be put on the Back Compat list if they knew a remastered version was in the works (maybe they weren't aware at that point). Is the 360 version still playable on the Xbox One after the announcement/will be after release of the remaster (I imagine it would be)?

Yes! The one thing that's missing on the PS4. Will be having a copy of that.

did the compatible one work with all the DLC? When I got it as a gift on steam none of the additional DLC was available and it's now so old there is no way of getting codes frown

Really enjoyed how they did the DLC, all of them seem to have been thought out to make the game fun and keep people playing instead of the usual "more in a different place"... or lootboxes eugh.

Now we just need a remastered Need For Speed Underground 2 and I never need to buy another game wink

I liked it, but I don't think I liked it enough to buy it again. The graphical upgrades don't look all that. It depends what the price is I suppose.

I've got too many other games to finish first, really...

Yeah this is still excellent fun, stayed up to play it alittle and the magic is still there despite being 10 years old. Graphics are probably just enough for everyone else but I think they are excellent as you didn't want to lose the games visual style.

Took the first car out and was sliding about instantly like I had only played it again last week. TV is going to be hogged this weekend smile

This was available on Games With Gold couple months ago so to pay £35 for a 'remaster' is a bit strange if you ask me, considering they were giving the full game away in B/C not that long ago

I downloaded free on GWG - liked it and oddly so did the OH - not fussed about paying for a slightly polished one though.

Surprised we managed to get a remastered version of this game, but I really enjoyed it back in the day. Looking forward to getting in and playing it again.

It's loads of fun, I've played it every night this week whenever I have a spare moment. Worth every second and have completed the island and am powering through the main game. Going to resub PS+ so I can play online next month it's going to be so good! smile

Hit the top of the sales chart which might prompt EA to release some more of their back catalogue so they can get some easy cash to pass to their shareholders. Need for Speed Underground 2 sign me up!! smile

Sorry for reviving an old thread but...

(PS4 related).
Has anyone been able to reset their career progress?
I played this maybe 6-7years ago, but didn't complete it. I got fairly far into the game.. but as it's been so long I'm absolutely crap and don't remember anything, meaning I suck at anything.
I want to just start from scratch and get back into the game, this time maybe complete it.
