744 for me. Although I have no idea of his spec (and even if you told me I still wouldn't be able to give an accurate guesstimate) biggrin

Mine neither, all fitted and car back from the paint shop. Engine running and low speed mapping hopefully finished today. Onto the dyno for high speed mapping and power runs early next week.

Nae sayer's get ready!

What displacement, turbo's, revs and compression?

Is it a 427, then 9:1 c/r at lowest and 6500 rpms ish, so limited by several things to 1100 hp under excellent conditions on a friendly dyno. Or 900 somewhere else. I'd say 750 at the wheels without all the info.

The road and dyno work is nearly done, high speed needs to be addressed at Brunters, hopefully soon.
Then we need to decide on how much we allow the electronics to be involved.
And what to do aero wise.
(Remember this car has really only one purpose in life)
So quite a lot left to do even if the car can be used on the run to work

The computer model says 665RWHP to get the job done, so any more is a bonus IMO

You should get more then that unless the turbo's are weedy or you have a 5.7 and stock revs. That said we don't have answers to our questions otherwise we'd probably tell you what to expect smile

As for pc simulators, I've got a couple and they always underestimate bhp. They're good for 'seeing' changes in specification though but that's all imo. I don't rely on them at all.

ETA, What's your target, 200 mph?

Yeah, over a Mile and a Half. But I`m beginning to think we are going to need a custom gearbox to be comfortable.

The calc was done at APS in Aus at the start of the build when we presented them with our requirements, hence the custom install.

Re the spec on the engine, I have been politely asked by the builder not to post details, however when the dust has settled and we have a complete car ready to compete I`ll fill you in on the things like revs and boost etc

Like I said this thread is a little premature.........
