My missus is a firm believer in Psychics & Gypsys (no idea about the spelling).
The last time one approached her they predicted all the things that've happened to her in the last 3 years.
I'm a total sceptic & think it's all a load of co-incidence as the woman asked for a £1 before & when my GF refused, cursed her & said these various bad things will happen.
Which apparently did - fairly serious stuff too.

My GF's mum was appraoched by a gypsy today, blessed with a "water prayer" given a charm & 2 bunches of heather.
Was given good news about her family, her daughter (my gf) & was told about various things that'd happened to her recently which astounded her.
This all happened in a town after she was walking out of a clothes shop. (Not our local town either.)
The gypsy asked for no money & would'nt take any in return.

My Gf believes in the people who approach you as they may be "passing on a message", but does'nt believe in people you "go to see".
As already said i don't believe in any of it but i was just wandering what other peoples opinions are?
It seems women believe this a lot more than men do..

Apologies for ste spelling & grammar.

Not for me I'm afraid. Did said purveyor of strangely limp heather predict someone would smear a thin layer of tar on your drive in exchange for several thousand pounds?

My girlfriend was told somebody called Adam would die & then come back in the form of bad news & hurt her.
Her uncle was called Adam, who died & her new boyfriend after that was called Adam, on rolls an abusive relationship where she was knocked about... so hence why she believes in it!
I don't at all but theres no convincing some women!

I believe in Gypsies too. I saw one half naked, shouting obscenities outside his caravan. I'm fairly confident that they exist.

How do people honestly still believe this crap? I thought Darwinism would have meant most of the followers of this mumbo-jumbo would have choked to death on ball point pens by now.

Ignorant or stupid? Take your pick because if you think for a minute that any of this bks could possible be true you're at least one of the two.

I stopped believing in gypsies when they took some copper piping from my garage & didn't leave 10p under my pillow. My garden was covered in gypsy's kiss though so I might be wrong.

Any halfwit who thinks a word of truth has ever come out of the mouth of one of these dirty bds is seriously misguided.

I don't believe this stuff - it's too illogical for my engineering mind, and my missus doesn't believe it either.

However a couple of her close friends (one from work and one an old school friend, they don't know each other) went to the same psychic type person who told them all sorts of stuff, some of it pretty bad (in one case someone dying and in the other the family being torn apart) which all came true.
yikes

Particularly in one of the women's cases, the psychic told her stuff about her family in great and accurate detail.

I think it's a trick, but she apparently did it very very well.

I dont believe it either, but she thinks otherwise, was just curious as to what peoples views were.
She's read all sorts of magic books & curse books & believes it all.

Anyone who believes in this stuff should read Derren Brown's "Tricks of the Mind".

"Psychic" theory debunked by a pro.

Some people believe in God. (who doesn't exist)
Some people believe in ghosts. (which don't exist)
Some people believe in Father Christmas. (you get the idea)

But your wife believes in real scum who really live in caravans.

Did she take much persuading?
