Let me guess McNab, you got the phone bill in and the GLW went off on one ?
We did.
Mine did.
I pointed out that the calls at home were mostly hers checking her stock portfolio. So now its either converting to Virgin's 0800 service or a visit from Mr Broad and Mrs Band.
But welcome back. It's good to see you.

There is McNab - to go to an unmetered service as offered by AOL, FreeServe, Virgin, among others. You pay a fixed monthly charge and then you can surf to your heart's content.
I changed our package last night to the Virgin unmetered - it costs 15 quid a month. Only problem is that is relies on CLI (Call Line Identify) so you MUST dial in from the same number. Which means it doesn't work in the office
no problem, I just signed up on the other service !! This means I can still get to my mail. But if we dial in at home we only pay the 15 pounds....which will save us about 25 over the quarter.
We spoke about your Compuserve problem before, so if you wish to change you'll need to apply a little fix to your computer. Mail me off list if you want to do this and I'll dig out the info for you.
All the best,
Greg

Well mine was well over 200 nicker, if that makes you feel better, old fella. BT listed over 500 calls in a quarter to the ISP. Amazing!!
Thank God it was to a local number !
Give me a shout when/if you want to make the change. However, your online IT consultant will be unavailable from March 16 until April 6 - small matter of a holiday to take !!
