I'm sure this'll have been posted previously, but it's always good to get a fresh view on things I feel. I need one alloy wheel repaired, it's scuffed along the outer rim.

I'm considering using Powdertech in Glasgow or Wheel Centre in Cambuslang based on reviews on other forums, does anyone have any glowing reviews of these guys?

Secondly, has anyone ever had a scuff itself repaired rather than having the entire wheel done? I want a good long-lasting finish, but am worried that if I get the whole wheel done it won't match the other 3, and I'd rather not get them all done as the other 3 are fine (and it'll obviously be quite costly).

C'mon lads and ladies, help a man out, you know you want to.

Just looking for any views from anyone whose had a wheel fully renovated or a smart repair done, pros and cons of each, someone must know!

Have used powdertec and re:coat (who are on SouthSt) in the past and was happy with both. Re:Coat were much cheaper though.

I've used ESP a couple of times over the past few years for wheel repairs and refurbs.
I've always been happy with the result. Decent prices as well.
They are just behind Partick Thistle FC. 0141 336 3800

Ok, so I've called Powdertech and ESP, both were very helpful and informative on the telephone, both quoted exactly the same price - who do I go with, has anyone else used either of these firms and would like to leave positive (or PM me negative) comments to help me decide?

Cheers biggrin
