S55K AMG or CL55K ??? which is better

I thinking of buying either an S55k AMG or CL55 AMG , got 9 - 18k to spend on the right car , high miles or even a bit of damage considered but must have FSH, any advice from you folks and anyone know of one being sold ?

Both are top cars, the CL IMHO is a much more timeless shape, probably one of the most elegantly designed MBs in a long time and will look good for a long time. The S looks a little dated now I think.

Both use the same engine, so it will come down to 4 door vs 2 door. Unless you need a 4 door, I would go for the CL.

The main thing to watch for (well there are obviously more) is the air suspension which can cost a bit to repair ( a few K).
