Bedford autodrome photo's 10th July
Discussion
I was wondering if any one on here was taking photo's at bedford on the 10th of July?
I saw a couple of people taking them on the bend leading on to the pit straight and was hoping they could send me a copy if they are on here.
Oh and what a spectcular spin by the GT2 down the pit straight.

My passenger when in the pit lane was taking photo's I am seeing him tomorrow and will ask what he has got, which car were you?
That GT2 spun in front of me and then drove straight back onto the track in front of me (purple caterham)very poor when will 911 owners realise that they can't brake/turn in/exit a corner as fast a 7 - I had two 911's spin in front of me at Bedford yesterday.

Yup I sat behind that 911 for like a lap and a half - he must have thought there was a police raid the amount of blue lights that were going off
I had a good evening and with not too much short shifting managed to escape with only a noise warning and no black flags...result (I was in the black and white Lotus Exige S1). As has been said nice and quiet with a relaxed atmosphere, good driving standards and pitlane natter.

Have to say I also thought the driving standards were very good. Much better than the usual trips to Brands Hatch where it's not uncommon to sit behind some yuppie with a lot of straight line poke for 3 laps as he boots it down the straights.
Did have a car spin in front of me for the first time on a track day, which focused the mind a little, but that wasn't bad driving it was just rightful exhuberance. Besides, he had an excuse, someone put the engine in the wrong end of his car.
If anyone has any shots of the blue X-reg Caterham please post a link or drop me a PM.
(And thanks again to the people who got roped into pushing it - a new starter motor is on its way!)

911Stu - presume you were in the white Scooby?
It was me who helped jump-start the blue caterham at the end... sounds like you made it home?
It was a very good event, perfect weather too!
Yeah , brilliant evening. Scooby is good. Engine check light flicked up on the last session i did, but went out and seems fine. Just about to change that leaky rocker cover gasket, but quite liked the smoke, more dramatic. It was me who helped jump-start the blue caterham at the end... sounds like you made it home?

Hope you enjoyed yourself.
