Tamora's and Tuscans??

Hi There
Can any tell me are Tamora's less troublesome than Tuscans or are they both as bad as one another??
I know it all depends on ownership and how they are respected etc, but on the whole, which would be the safer bet??

Same car except one is far prettier than the other, but in the eyes of the beholder only, both as reliable as each other depending really when the Speed Six engine left the factory, the later being the better usually is the rule!

i test drove a tuscan and bought a tamora, i found the tuscan was a little scary for me. Reliability is really the same, ie totally depends on other factors e.g. maintenance, style, etc.

I'd go for the Tuscan, only as the boot is bigger and the roof sits on the top rather than upright in the Tamora.

Our Tamora has never let us down in more than 6 years of ownership (touches wood!).

Tuscan usually cheaper - could spend the money sorting the handling out (cannot see why Tamora would handle better than Tuscan).

Can be a pain on the Tuscan not being able to get to the boot when the roof is off but when you can the boot is huge!

I think the Tuscan is better looking (but still like the Tamora)

Tuscan with a recent rebuild would/should be more reliable than a non-rebuilt Tamora.

Overall, go and look at both and buy the one you fancy (but wisely!) as actually they are pretty much the same.

I heard that the Tamora is better build quality, but I reckon for the same money a Tuscan would be just as well built/looked after - obviously a cheaper Tuscan might not be as 'tip-top'

The way the question's phrased I'd think you may not be ready for any TVR just yet. If you're looking for issues you'll find them with any car. They won't be difficult to find in either a Tuscan or Tamora but any prospective owner enjoys the good points and happily "suffers" the odd niggle/calamity.

Unless I've miss heard this isn't the chassis on the Tamora/T350 & Sag shorter than a Tuscan, hence the improved handling?
