Rocker Cover removal for coating. Help needed

I am considering taking these of my RV8 500 for Leven Tech to then powder coat.
My question is:
Firstly: How easy is it to do?
Secondly: With air con fitted, is it a degass and recharge or once un bolted do the covers just slide out from underneath with the air con lleft in place.
