Clutch adjustment?
Discussion
My clutch seems to be biting very high up the pedal travel. It seems fine with no slippage or difficulty in engaging gear it's just very high and when I jump out of my other car it takes me ages to get used to it.
Is there any adjustment? or is the clutch coming to the end of it's life (2003 S6 cerb with 15K miles)

You can adjust the push rod on the Master Cylinder and you could also adjust the pedal lower down to give the impression that the you have less travel. (if you know what I mean) If it's any use mine is quite high and I have had two different clutches and I am now running a Raceproved diaphragm giving the same feel.

)As mentioned you can adjust both the pedal pad position and the move whole arm back and forth by adjusting the pushrod at the top.
However a major contributor to early clutch finger failure is that its possible to over stroke the fingers, you should set the pedal position so that when it thumps into the carpet the clutch is just clear and car doesn't move.
