Help please!!!

I was just about to leave to drive up to Curborough for the sprint tomorow when I have noticed that one of my rear ARB drop links has snapped eek

I know that some cars run without a rear ARB so I have taken the whole thing off. Cany anyone tell me if I should change the settings on my Gaz Gold shocks to compensate? And if so what should I change.

I need to leave in an hour or so frown

I think you will be ok. You could maybe go one stiffer on the back.

i would just try it though, you prefer it.

The main effect you're likely to see is slightly increased tendency to push-on understeer in tight corners, but you should find more traction on the way out. Watch out for the understeer and be prepared to drive round it if necessary.

Thanks for the tip - I will give it a spin eek and see how it goes

If you had doubles you could probably dial most of that out.

I found the rear anti roll bar being off gave less understeer. However if you feel you have more understeer go stiffer on the back and soften the fron off a bit. Maybe try increasing the front camber a bit also.

That's odd. Geometry effects can sometimes cause that sort of thing but with twin wishbones all round I wouldn't have expected that.

Maybe its somthing to do with the stiffness of the car? Its definatly better with it off,.
