just got back from workin away from home to find out i have a shattered rear window dow!! Got intouch with my insurer who told me it would be sorted out within 24 hours but i'm still waiting (I actually found out about this 5 days ago but this is the first time i've had a chance to get online).

Has anybody here had this problem before and if so how long did it take to get it fixed? My insurer is admiral if that makes a differance. Who incidentally decided to keep my insurance premium at excactly the same rate as last year (give or take a few pounds) which is quite strange considering there is no change in my policy.mad

Sorry for not making the stirling services meet i had quite a hectic day spin

When I had the offside rear quarter glass shatter on my Monaro, the biggest problem was getting one - it took a ridiculous 5 weeks for Vauxhall to supply it.

I was insured through the RAC at the time, and once I had reported it the local Autoglass people phoned me within the hour. They patched up the empty hole with a lump of perspex while I waited for the new glass.

I needed a front screen for my Omega last year; this car is on my multi-car insurance with Admiral, and there were no problems. From memory there is a dedicated phone line for glass claims.
