Yesterday....
Where did that rain come from in Basingstoke about 3pm.?
Working on the 'S' removing the hood stays to give them a polish, I thought that I could be doing this when its raining....SO......
Get out there and drive....
Roof was off and in the garage..No threat of rain..Blus sky..10 miles of fun then.
Pi$$ing down....First time to be caught without the roof....Bl
dy soaked....stuck behind Sunday drivers at 40MPH....Took me an hour to wipe down the interior....
Saw a rather nice Yellow Cerb driving into Kingsclere, gave him a wave he just looked over and shook his head.....Anyone here?

Preparing for Mid-Essex meet yesterday, I thought I ought to clean the old girl up. Just about finished, when a flock of flying ar5es flew over, and splattered diarrhoeia over the entire car. Getting bird poo out of the mohair roof is a pain, but I suppose I should be grateful I hadn't taken the roof of at this stage. When I'd finished, my wife informed me that the car wasn't the only victim - as I was bent down cleaning the lower parts, my back was splattered too.
