Folks,

Sister-in-law's wedding coming up in the next couple of weeks and we're trying to think of something interesting to do in the evening..

The initial thought was launching paper hot air balloon/lanterns but the venue has put the stoppers on that as there is a wooded area near by that they're concerned about setting fire to!

So, any ideas for something memorable to do in the evening would be gratefully received..

Cheers in advance,

slinky

Is there a river or stream in the venue? Everyone could make paper boats and write good luck messages on them and float them down the river...Just an idea!

We're getting pissed. Have you thought of that?

At a recent wedding, the couple planted a tree together in the grounds of their wedding venue.

I quite like the boat idea that Lottie mentioned above.

I take it the venue owner wanted the lawn dug up and a tree planted there? What if everyone did that? Would it turn into a miniature man-made forest?
