What "grease" goes inside the steering rack gaiters?

I'm fitting new gaiters to my power steering rack and when I removed the first of the old ones it was full of some pretty nasty looking ste.

I now need to wash it out and re-fill it with new grease but I'm not 100% sure what grease to use.

I'm thinking CV-joint grease.

Can anyone confirm this / correct me?

A mate who works on rally cars confirmed CJ-joint grease was ok.

Job done.

Car mobile again.

Oh, and I took pictures so when I get them uploaded off the camera I'll stick them onto a thread about how to go about changing the gaiters.
