Why do I keep getting logged out??

I'm getting logged out every 5 minutes or so. What's going on?

It's never done this before, I've not changed any of my PCs, and I've not changed the settings on them either. It's driving me nuts!!

Just to add, it's only PH doing this, not any other forums or other websites.

I doubt it. I've never had a problem in 3 years before today, and now it's doing it every couple of minutes.

i do get times when this happens to me but not at the moment. and again only ever happens on PH

What browsers are you all using, just to help me see if it is specific to one browser or a problem across the board (as I never see this problem at work)?

Happens to me in Chrome on Vista.

Last time it happened to me it was somewhere within the processpost.asp processing.

IE8 with Vista. As I say, only the once so could have been some sort of hiccup my end.

I run Chrome too and have no problems... I will have a look at the cookie code and see if I can see something weird going on there, will be later today though... so bear with us.

Just happened to me 3 times in a row with Firefox. Looked at a post then clicked back on the forum link at the top and I'm out....

I use Firefox on XP, Firefox on Vista and Opera on Blackberry.

The weirdest is when it lets me type a thread reply, but when I hit submit, it tells me I have to log in?

Same place its happening for me then, in the processpost.asp code.

It's not just there. It does it at random in lots of places!

Any update on this? It had been absolutely fine again until this evening, and how it's doing it again.

I found myself logged out a few days ago, but it's quite a rare occurence (Firefox)
