Front wheel fouling wing!

I decided to jack the front end up the other day and have a good nose around. I was alarmed to see that the front tyre fouls the trailing edge of the front wing when on 3 quarter lock. the car has adjustable top wishbones and I wondered if this was what was pushing it back too far.

Do they run close anyway?

Do you mean there is witness marks on the wing? Or do you mean it fouls when you had it on the jack?

There are witness marks on both sides but it seems ok when being driven. However, i noticed it first when it was jacked up. When turning the wheel, it touches the trailing edge of the wing way before full lock is achieved.

Hmmm, what size tyres are on the car?

Any pics of the marks? The tyre can catch when lifted on the jack.

Wheel sizes needed, although a few months ago someone here found that they had had front & rear wheels swapped!!!!

I'll see if I can upload some photos later Ant. Interesting that the wheels can foul when the car is on axle stands, hopefully this indicates that I don't have a too serious problem...

I had to have my arches cut away when my rears started to foul after we altered the geo. That said I'm running 265 on the rear and only 1 degree of camber.
