On Sky Last night B.A Have to cut 3,700 Jobs to stay 'Afloat'

Is it really that serious and what happens if B.A Goes Bust ?
Will it be another Government bailout ?

When you travel with these Airlines is there an insurance to protect you against such situations ?

Pay for it on a credit card for most comprehensive protection.

You pay with your credit card for the obvious reason.

Hopefully there won't be an issue as wifey is flying BA to the US in 6 weeks having plumped for them for the first time over VA.

You should have Airline Failure Cover if you book with an agent or online agency. This is basically an indemnity to cover your flights and get you alternatives or a refund if the airline goes under.

I'd agree with others though that your best cover comes from booking on your credit card smile
