Yeah i went Sat morning had a fantastic time loved looking at all the cars (esp. the TVR's) the show was great too.
The pops and bangs out of the Subaru Impreza rally car was great to hear.

It was a Tamora doing the donuts on the Thursday night, did they stuff the TVR between then and Sat then?

The main donut car (with the guy standing on it) was a Tamora, however there was also a Tuscan S and a T350 doing donuts at the same time.

Saw the 6.30 show last night, the last of the weekend, and things seemed to get a little more out of hand as it was the last one - the robin race had to be red flagged as two rolled onto their roofs in the middle of the arena and the other cars were still haring round them, and in the handbrake turn parking thing with the guy from the audience, they moved the cars closer together for JC's go, debris everywhere! The guy from the audience completely missed the mark causing one of the cars to go flying into the TVR branded islands! BRILLIANT show though, well enjoyed all of it, the noise of the Le Mans T440R was great, the Impreza was just mad, and I'm still trying to work out where the pick-up went!

Bloke doing the parking bit wasn't pulled out of the auduience because he was wearing a Diahatsu jacket was he? What you've described sounds just like the first show on Thursday other than the 3-wheelers on their roofs.

Top show.

Birmingham international motor show or not, would be great to see MPH as an annual event.

Hmmmmm - it was a hyundai jacket.... Didn't think he was a plant, but he may well have been I guess - he was suitably crap at parking to be joe public anyway!

The Robins on their roofs was the only thing that 'seemed' to get to the marshalls - wasn't the safest thing in the world, but cracking to watch!

Don't know about the rest of you, but I found watching Hammond drive that old Beemer through the caravan particularly satisfying!

Interesting ... The Sat 3pm show has a "kid" in a Hyundai being pulled out of the audience as well. Said he did not have his own car but drove his mom's car ... Cannot remember the make/model.

Does the plot thicken ... Or should I go out and get a life?

Can you really imagine the Health and Safety issues of letting some loon from the audience lose in such a small arena!

Thanks for that, I was sure he was a plant otherwise he would have paid a lot of money for 5mis of the show. It could have been a Hyundai jacket, my memory is very poor... now where was I?...

Wasn't a Ford Fiesta by any chance....

I don't think the plot is just thick....I think it's set in concrete!!!!

Actually, I must admit to being a bit disappointed. The whole thing was marketed as a moving motorshow where you get to see the cars "in action"... well if a 5mph crawl counts as action...

Would rather get up close and see the cars, that watch one crawl past in the distance... almost silently... I wanted to HEAR the Zonda...

.. now whoever was driving the Le Mans TVR had the right idea! Serious PIE!

What, the same bloke they pulled out on Saturday??? ....and Sunday most probably, how thick do they think we are thinking these things are not planned? I too was a bit disappointed with the show but the main reason for me was to look at the SAGARIS before ordering one so it was worth it just for that
