Does anyone know if it's possible to pay privately to get children vaccinated against swine flu?

To be honest nothing would surprise me when you bear in mind that you can buy Tamiflu from a private GP. However my general understanding is that everyone will eventually be immunised once the vaccine is available. However, if you do have to wait for the routine vaccination be prepared for a long one. I would think that the vaccinations would go along the lines of : medical/nursing/paramedical staff, old/young/vulnerable, then everyone else. Obviously this is all speculation but hope that it helps.

As the vaccine wont be available for a couple of months, the answer is no.

Hopefully there will be fewer problems with it than there were with the 1976 swine flu vaccination program in the USA

Yeah, I was just watching this funnily enough! The 1976 SwineFlu vaccinations - broadcast once and once only it seems?
