I see some people have painted their brake calipers and it looks quite good.

What paint has been used? is it a high temperature paint?

Yes, its a high temp paint. Without being to trashy, you can buy a brake paint kit from Halfords in a variety of colours that comes with Degreaser, 2 part high temp paint and applicator. Circa £25 for a Foliotech (trade name) kit.
