SEAC adjustable front suspension-Shock advice

Hi Guys, Not sure how many were fitted to SEAC's,but i've aquired a pair of adjustable lower wishbones for my 390, and wanted to get advice about shocks...
As my lower arms have been modified by fitting a blanking plate over the through hole,(where the standard shock passes through), i'm gonna have to use rose joint type ends at the bottom. Is this the same as SEAC's?
If i'm gonna have to get new shocks ,i wonder if any of you can recommend a supplier? ...also, has anyone experimented with front coil-overs on a wedge?? I must admit I'm more than a bit worried about the standard chassis shock-mounts taking the whole weight of the car!!

This is what I want, but I've been told GAZ doesn't want their stuff sent overseas for some reason, so I can't buy them, at least not directly.

Have you tried Richard Thorpe ?

He fitted adjustables all round for me on my 280 FHC, and the rears on my present car...and he mails stuff out.

Hi Andy

I have a SEAC and its rose jointed up front and I have installed the SH GAZ coil overs all round with a few mods to the front and my front and what a difference on the road
My old shock mounts werent realy up to the task.

Do you mean adjustable platforms with shocks , I have them on the back but need to do the front and remove the springs I had replaced last year , along with lots of other stuff eg new ally rad , new manifold ends onto new silencer pipe ends ( about to be done ) , the list goes on ...

I have Redline adjustables (inc spring platforms) on the back of of my 400,
and had the same, but all round on my 280.
