New RS Ford - 1.29..... was a stock monaro not doing it in 131 and that was without the benefit of road slicks!

Correct me if Im wrong please but if thats the case whats all the hype about for the ford?

Its pretty good for a cheap car, 2 seconds infront is a fair distance on track.

I belive the times were, Stock Monaro 1.33.9, VXR8 1.31.3 and Monaro VXR 1.30.1 which was quicker than a VX220 turbo !! Strangely. As you say, what's all the fuss about !

i try not to let it get to me..........personally im not a fan of fwd cars, i find them impure and well just no fun!
but what bugs me the most is most of the new hot hatches are good! and require little skill to drive fast........before my monaro i had a skyline (stage one) but it was mainly set up for handling, my friend had a dc2 type r, on a tight b-road i couldnt lose him for love nor money!
