Remember a few years back ? They just sat in storage because something in the software/avionics didn't work/wasn't supplied .... what ever it was. After all the news today of a helicopter shortage for UK troops, does anyone know if they are all in service today ?

Not yet - but they are being refurbished to the earlier standard of avionics fit and will enter service . Not sure when though.

2010......Just in time to airlift Supreme Grand Leader Winky to his new tax-payer paid for Haggis Nest up in the Highlands, from where he will rule for a 1000 years ( or more like 7-8, if history repeats)
