First post here after a year of lurking, so I'll try some humour.

Every so often, the police in Scotland run a nationwide anti-speeding campaign 'Speedwatch', with all the usual dire warnings - radio and TV adverts, and even posters on the back of buses etc.

One poster had the ominous "We're watching you watching your speed", with the obligatory yellow-jacketed figure at work extracting licences and cash.

Unfortunately, the text was in big white letters on a black background - good for visibility, but also ideal for a bit of magic-marker jiggery-pokery under cover of darkness.

Suffice to say, I nearly drove off the road when confronted with the same picture, but now complete with the banner "We're watching you watching you pee"...

There's a sign in the Hughenden Valley outside High Wycombe that used to say (before the magic marker faded) "pee cameras". Now I thought that kind of thing wasn't allowed!

I always thought the 'Kill your speed, not a child' slogan was pretty dumb, like it was a choice. Or that other great slogan 'pull back, driver on board'.
