After putting the Duratec in the Ginetta I've had over a months trouble free driving until the weekend. I got it started and it was idling fine, I went to put someting in the boot and while I was doing that it cut out. I managed to get it sarted again but when I pressed the thottle the revs would drop off and then cut out. I left it for a few minutes and it started ok again and would rev when the throttle was pressed but after a minute the revs would drop and cut out again. I put some more fuel in it as it didn't have much in the tank and the car was parked facing up a slope but the same happened. I did however notice a few coughs before it cut out similar to the ones you'd get if you run out of fuel.

The thoughts I've had are:
Still needs more fuel
Fuel pump
Coil pack

Do you guys have any ideas?

FYI, idividual coils, MBE ECU and Raceline TB's

Here's a random idea, but one that applies to my engine (not duratech), but in case you did run out of fuel, do you now need to bleed the fuel rail if the pump has been just pumping air? Probably not an issue if you have a fuel return but on mine it's a pressured rail that has a bleed at one end like a tyre valve.

Mine sounds like the same det up as yours but does not appear to have a bleed valve on the end.
