Looks like the good old Holden will be driving on for a while yet!
I guess they are more fuel efficient than Hummers anyway!

Not so keen on the exterior look, especially the front. But I do like the light interior.

who cares though - I paid my money.

Yeah but whats more important is that the new CEO imported from some st industry said no more Pontiac G8.
Henderson or whatever his name is. Obviously he got told where to get off. He is probably just some communist who drives a jap electro car anyway.

I think the Caprice looks really nice. Gone the big air dam of VXR8 and much higher profile tyres. Presumably still has a 6 litre V8 only slight down on the VXR8. Much more a soft anonymous big saloon upholding traditional V8 auto power train values.

Caprice is a statesman, the LWB version. Its not an HSV which explains the large airdam of the VXR8 which is an HSV Clubsport in effect.
I do like the stock SS actually. The engine is basically a 6L LS3 in the caprice and SS.
Still at £22k anyone buying a VXR8 LS3 is getting an awsome bargain.

Err...not quite, he has been at GM for years, and from what I've seen so far is much better than Wagoner.

Unfortunately a brand had to go, and Pontiac was chosen, so the G8 went too.

As for Mr Lutz....his comments are causing a bit of confusion. Fingers crossed though.

And on Friday Lutz had obviously been "spoken to" and admitted on a blog that he was wrong and that the business case for a G8 rebadged as a Chevy didn't stack up.

Not a surprise really.
