I am looking for new shock absorbers for my Grantura Mk 2a.

Could anyone help me with any recommendations and details (manufacturers/part no./suppliers)?

regards,
Granturadriver

Try Adrian Venn at exactly TVR or Nigel Rubens.

this catalogue (http://www.doppler-fahrzeugtechnik.de/spax/media/spax_2008.pdf)shows no Grantura Mk 2a but the later Mk 3 and 1800 + Griffith 200 and 400.

@rich
Thank you very much. According to the above mentioned catalogue the no G4.5LL is used on Morgan cars since 1991 for the rear axle! The catalogue reads

Morgan Plus 4: 4+4; Plus 8 (rear damper with open length 14.2" (360mm))

Shocks are about 89,95 Euro.

@walkonneil
Does that fit with your part no?

According to the Morgan Club there are further shocks available, for example Koni classic. I will try to find more details about this.

Hello,
the german TÜV/MOT needs for registration of my Grantura MK3 (1963) a certificate that it is allowed to fit adjustable shock absorbers like SPAX.

Is it possible to get a certificate thats describe that these kinds of shocks is allowed?
