Full leather?

A Griffith 430 I recently looked at was supposedly equipped with full leather but the centre console and doors (and door cards) looked exactly the same as the vinyl on a Chimarea I previously looked at.
Isn't pretty much everything supposed to be leather with the full leather option?

Half leather=seat fronts.
Full leather=the lot.

Ant is correct, full leather means everthing is leather clad, dash, consol, door trim etc

yes, mine has full leather and that includes everything, seat backs aswell as fronts, dash, console, door trims, window surrounds, even the carpet binding is leather rather than vinyl!!!

Mine is full leather except for the cheap and very nasty sun visors!!

I still have the receipt from mine as new (1994) which states full leather.

A good way to tell is:

Vinyl - Looks a bit 'bobbly' and the 'grain' gets dirtier on lighter colours.

Leather - Probably peeling away from the dash at the most bloody awkward place near to the windscreen!!

I was going through my car's doc file last night and found TVR'S 1994 price list. In the Griffith section the Standard Equipment lists Leather Seat Facings, in the Options list there is 3/4 Hide Trim at £1450.00 and Full Hide at £1920.00. I'm not sure if these options apply to a 430.
