Spotted this at auction today.

2006 56 MB SLK55 Tip Auto Roadster. 17k. £27,750 SOLD

Was that a high miler with a poor spec? Seems like a very very good price.

17k miles (as stated).

Didn't check for COMAND but did have multi-function steering wheel, usual AMG leather etc.

I drove that car today, at MB Derby. It was up for £32980.

I went away to think about for 2 hours then the salesman rang me (I thought at first to pester me). He said 'I am calling to tell you the car is sold, unfortunately'.

A very quick turnaround for MB Derby on that car!

V8 Mate, can you please have a quick look through your upcoming auction listings for SLK55's and post back and let me know if any are on the list, and where? I live in Measham and subscribe to their lists so no need to search that particular BCA outlet.

Hi Mike,

Yes I am still looking but am disappointed at how many ropey one's are out there. Maybe I am being too picky especially as they are so cheap at the moment. I'll give it another few weeks and if I don't find one then I am going to have to start looking for something different. Thanks for your help so far.
