quieter 5L chim

Got my car back from TVR recently after the cylinder head had been remachined. Apparently the cylinder head warpped after it over heated, or something like that.
Anyway, the car runs fine now but it seams a lot quieter. Maybe its just my imagination but can anyone think of a reason why it has done this?

perhaps your old inlet or exaust gaskets were leaking?

Reset the preload on the lifters?
