you mean impressively stupid on a public road? The limits are set to 40 for a reason, side roads, houses, blind dips or corners.
Now I'm not for a second doubting the very (very) high abilities of Balboni as a driver but all it would take is for one other road user (or pedestrian or cyclist) to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and the end result could be horrific at those speeds.
Although if I'm being 100% honest I'd love to have got a demo ride myself!!

I must admit when I watched it I did think that whilst he is quite clearly a very skilled driver, it made me wince a bit.
If it had been someone, who may or may not have been equally skilled, in a tuned up Imprezza, there would be howls of derision.
Also, he's a brave man doing that with someone with a video camera sat next to him, lets face it, it's going to end up on youtube.

...just had a quiet word with someone who will be having a quiet word with the vid's creator and it will be removed from YouTube today.
A pity really, maybe it could be replaced but without the caption - not least because I'm sure the polizia stradale know full well that sort of thing happens around Sant'Agata and Maranello! Certainly, there was a time when a bright young traffic cop who worked near the Ferrari factory discovered the ticket he gave a Ferrari test driver was pretty much the last police work he ever did...

I thought he was fine in towns and unbelievably quick on open straight roads. I don't see where the danger would really come from in those particular circumstances. The grainy footage probably makes it look worse than it is. I wouldn't drive like that, but I don't see the problem apart from doing powerslides without any regard for surface problems, but without being there I don't think anyone can really judge.

and there are a surprising number of things you can do in Supercar Valley that don't include visiting car factories or even racetacks and auto-museums.
These other things include eating and drinking quite a lot though so some extra 'larger' clothing might need to be included your luggage!!
