Headlights.....again

I see Tuxman is considering an upgrade on his lights, so.....is it possible to convert a 3 to a 3R?

I'd have thought you would have to either cut them in or replace the clamshell. By the looks of it.

You have to cut them in as do the factory as there is no hole for the lights when the clam is laid up AFAIK.

have not got all the details yet but you buy a light pod then cut the clam and glue in from the back . looks like a pretty straight forward job only bad bit will be cutting the clam !!

yep matey and a very steady hand and an ultra tight fit .myself and keith the panel man did a set for a 2.5 in my home town.he doesnt come on here as he has no computer and has no intention of getting one.he is a regular at cadwell though.the lights havnt rattled out yet which i suppose is a good sign
