Hello

in March i was burgled and the bds took, amongst other things, my cherished Fossil watch.

ok, it may only be a Fossil but i loved it
the problem is that even after contacting Fossil directly, they can't supply me with a name or value for my watch

it was silver with a brown leather strap
and had a light cream coloured face with lots of little 'defender' symbols on it
there was no date box
a little button to the top right of the winder would light up the face in a green glow
it cost me about £200 and was bought from a shop in Belfast around 1994

would love to find another one and the insurance company would like to see one as well...where else should i look?

cheers in advance
Phil

A quick search on Ebay shows no used but prices from £100 to £180. I can only suggest you mention this to your insurers to negotiate a value. Sadly, sentimental value has no bearing on the cold cash price.

I'm sure you've done this already, but I'd ask Fossil if they have a product brochure from '94. There's a good chance your watch will be in it.

done both of them, lads but thank you for your replies

the sentimental bit...i would like to replace it, the best looking watch i've ever had

the value bit...insurance want me to prove it's value before they'll cough up

spoke directly to Fossil with all the information i had and they couldn't help.
no worries, i'll keep looking

thank you
Phil
