Some weeks ago we talked about this in another thread. It seems that Briatore is now much more open about his future now - question is, is he playing games or is he serious?...and more to the point who will replace him?...I think that it'll be another Brazilian

I suspect the testing ban is helping him keep his seat (as hard to throw someone in who hasn't driven a current spec f1 car recently)
Surprised they kept him at start of year to be honest....even when in lower formula i didn't see that 'outstanding' quality that was very evident with some like Hamilton for example.

ccording to Brazillian media,Piquet is now finished and will be replaced by grosjean for Hungary.

At least if they have the same car, Piquet has no excuses for being wore than his team-mate. The only flaw I can see in this is how they'd be able to fit the two of them in the same cockpit.

They do if the #2 driver is good enough. Alonso smashed Trulli in 2003.Nelsinho Piquet is not comparable.

Points are awarded for racing, not qualifying. Furthermore, if Alonso was outqualified by Trulli for most of the season, it's even more remarkable that he did better in races, since qualifying has quite a big impact on race outcomes given the difficulty in overtaking.
