Thinking of completely changing my career path.

Currently a chef, long long hours, low low pay, shoddy work really. Getting fed up.

Wanting to move into the finance industry, as a mortgage/financial advisor.

Now, i'll have to take CeMAP and similar qualifications, i'll be shelling out for them myself, as that will show potential employers that i have the get up and go to achieve what i want, rather than relying on them to get me through the training. Any reputable training companies, that do on-line courses out there?

How hard will it be to find work as a newbie with no experience, but newly qualified?

Thoughts appreciated.

Ta.

Not really my area, but I suspect most industry sectors are similar.

How hard would it be for a newbie chef with no experience, but newly qualified to get started? Probably going to be similar for you starting in the finance sector.

Not trying to put you off - just be realistic.

My brothers mate changed career a few yrs back to become a mortgage advisor and did very well at it, now has done further exams and is an Ifa. judging by his house, car and holidays he has think it is a good game to be in. Have been contemplating doing this myself too.
