Finally, after quite a bit of time, I have the Griff set up and have a power figure from the new engine and Emerald ECU. The car feels very quick coming from a 400 spec, which showed 216bhp two years ago at the Growl.

I am very pleased , especially as there seems there might be quite a bit to come yet.

On Monday , the engine produced 295.2 BHP !

There are some people that deserve thanks for helping me to get there:
Boosted LS1,Sportmotive,Spendy,Threefishorange,Quinny,Joo,my old man and V8D.

It has been (and still is)a learning curve, but it's been fun(sometimes) thumbup

That's pretty impressive Ant! Bet you're chuffed!
Looks like you win on the hp but the torque is very similar to mine. Am looking fwd to comparing notes at the Growl.

It isn't cheating! it just shows Ant where to concentrate his efforts to free the latent potential. That car will be closer to 350 than 300 when its sorted out IMO. Look on Ant's face after that run was priceless hehe

I'm not sure you should broadcast how it was done, it might just be a competitive edge for Joo tuning and development wink Publish the figures, they are yours, just be a bit coy about how it was done hehe

The most astounding thing that struck me about the car though, is that the engine is so smooth under load, apart from the noise you wouldn't even know it was running yikes.... Mike certainly did a blinding cameo gnawing on that bottom end

Ant & others have also done a fair bit of work, so I wouldn't confuse this with a stock 4.6 as was attempted elsewhere. There will be few motors that have had this amount of attention & detail paid to them down in the guts wink It is definitely a big Feck Off to all those that have hinted that balancing & blueprinting are a waste of time! Top job Ant biggrin Hopefully it has given you the impetus to go on and finish the other little bits to see the full potential wink

I can imagine, pretty sure I was smiling for every one of the 65 miles home...

Shame it was raining on the way home, still managed a bit of playtime.

So here is the graph after the run that made my face drop.

Those with an understanding will guess what allowed the engine to do this run, and as Spend says ,it shows where I can make some good gains.

Took the plenum and y-piece off?
Can't see how the engine would run properly with out the plenum!
The Y piece stayed firmly bolted in place.

Ha ha yeh the tickover needs to be around 6000 rpm to make it smooth!
