Anyone done this? - http://www.highlandwildlifepark.org/warden_day.htm

I am thinking of getting the other half this for her birthday, but the Carnivore package. Hwever, at £200 per person I'd like to hear the opinions of those who have done it or know someone who has.

Since coming back from South Africa she's like a 5 year old and and is fascinated with Tigers and to get up close would be a fantastic experience. How hands on is it, do you get involved with the feeding etc, or just shoveling crap around all day? smile

ha ha very true, wrong continent, doh! It was actually cheetahs she got very close to, in fact she was stroking one at a rehab centre. She saw quite a few lions too, I always get confused with Tigers and Lions smilesmile

I did think of Edinburgh zoo, but I thought a smaller centre may offer a better environement, more hand-on and closer to the animals, perhaps not though.

Edinburgh zoo and Highland wildlife Park are both run by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland. A mate of mine is Health and Safety Officer for both.
I would go for HWP, got to be a good day out.
