I've book my hols for next April to Florida with the family but when I booked most of the places did not have anything for car hire in the US for next April

SO thought I would look around online and look at prices as they should be out about now

Anyone have good suggestions on places to look at car hire in the US

cheers

I've just booked with CarHire3000.com for florida this september seemed to be pretty much the cheapest I could find. Alamo also seem to be pretty decent price wise.

Well, not sure where they are getting the car from but went for an Intermediate (Pontiac G6 2dr) for £300 for the 2 weeks, that included additional driver and a tank of fuel, not too bad I don't think!

Just back from 2 weeks in Florida

We used Dollar, it was included in the fly drive deal. Initially paid for intermediate SUV, but on arrival upgraded to this for an extra £230

I've always used carhireagency.com when I've gone to the states.

I've used Budget, Hertz, Avis and Dollar in the US. The only one I wouldn't use again is Dollar.

Budget have been fine. Used them last year for a car from LA via carhireagency. The only problem was they tried to double charge for the satnav. Quick email and it was refunded.
