Well, what a week that was, 3000 miles, 6 days, 11 countries....Here's a few pics:

We left Sandown on a warm and sunny Sunday and headed for Dover to get the ferry to Dunkirk, 14 hours later I had driven through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, Slovenia and eventually arrived in Rovinj, Croatia at the 5* Monte Mullini hotel....WOW!

Then, after an afternoon round the pool and boat trip to St.Andrews island for dinner it was onto Rimini after a hearty breakfast. We arrived with plenty of time to get spruced up, Bar-b-Q on the beach and a few sherberts at the Coconut club where the ladies were very willing to please!

Next day we had Imola for the day...AMAZING, to have one of the greatest, albiet, technically demanding circuits in the world at your disposal was just unreal and to hear the 430 Scuderia on overrun was sublime. wink

Then onto Stressa on the banks of Lake Maggiore just North West of Milan. This was without doubt the best Hotel I've ever stayed in....5* star deluxe too!

After skimming round Lake Geneva we headed up to Luxembourg and experienced the Swiss Alps, very Italian job. Arriving in the city and off to another memorable nightclub. wink

Luxembourg to Dunkirk to Dover and onto The Brighton Grand Hotel

This was my 4th Cannonball Run Europe and easily the best, the routes were great as were the venues and track. The best thing about this years event was the people, an incredible mix of really nice people from all backgrounds with all kinds of bank balances and not a single dcensoredkhead in sight!

Roll on 2010!

Some great pics there.

Mandi my ex missus went a few years back, she was one of the organisers and said she had such a fantastic time (and shes not even a proper petrol head).

Ive always wanted to do it but never had the time or had other things to pay for, im gonna have to do this sooner rather than later (before the kids arrive)
