Easy one here, my 350i has a 3 prong oil pressure switch I assume this is a 'fuel isolation' type, but only one prong is connected (to the warning light) is this standard or should the others be connected or should it be a single prong switch? It doesn't work at the moment as the switch is open circuit so I thought I would get the correct one to replace it!

I've never seen a wedge yet that used the oil pressure switch to tamper with the fuel supply... but I guess it could happen.

Usually it's just a single-terminal sender into a T-piece that comes off the pump; the other side of the T feeds the oil pressure gauge.
