...On a silver Golf GTI.

Well done my friend, you just earned yourself a call to the Police for dangerous driving.

Night, night.

Does that actually do anything? Will the police follow anything up?

Not Saying you shouldn't of phoned, just wondering what the police will do?

I had a passenger as a witness.

At the very least, hopefully the young boy will re-think his driving so that he doesn't kill someone else or himself.

This was in ABZ in case anyone had wondered.

Actually in Aberdeen Airport? That is dodgy. And presumably a security risk too. He was lucky that he wasn't assumed to be a terrorist trying to ram the terminal and shot. They apparently have snipers on the roof of all UK international airports now...

Again, what did he do?

Considering he's going to feel the wrath of every PH'er who clocks him I feel we have a right to know.

He tried to ram me off the road whilst looking 'big' to his mates. I suspect he's boasting about it over on Volkzone or Eastside or somesuch rolleyes

My Girlfriend was petrified.

Perhaps he'll think next time before attempting such an insane manouver.

That's not necessarily true. Look to Asbo/Great Pretender as an example.

I've had the police on the phone to me for an incident once. Can't really remember the details but he reported my driving, the police phoned me, I told them he was talking sh!te (which he was) and that he'd been the one driving badly. They warned me about my driving and that was it.

I also know of a few instances of people phoning to report others and the police phoning back with an update on what happened. So they don't just leave it, but witnesses would be needed for any sort of formal action against the driver.

But as the OP says, it might be enough to give the driver a proverbial kick up the ar$e.

Did he actually make contact , I doubt it.
Why not just follow him until you could have a "word" instead of phoning the police, bit of a sniveller IMO.

Cracking idea. I'm sure the young person would not cause a fuss take it on the chin and say sorry. laugh A talking to from the police might cool his jets, better that than being yet another reason for insurance to go up when he punts it into another car.

I would have phoned the cops also IMO.

Sorry, can you direct me to the part where I mentioned he had hit me?

Also, having been the recipient of his idiocy, what normal person would then pursue the miscreant to 'have a word'?

Is that not what the Police are for? Yes.

Next rolleyes
