M27 Hoon to Sunday Service 9th August

I'm organising a nonvoy to get us to the above event

Meeting at 9.30am at Rownhams West bound services on the M27, leaving 9.45am prompt.

There will be around 200 PH cars at the event which is at Wilton House, Salisbury - and 100 super/hyper cars too

The PH part is free entry - to see the top 100 costs £5 for charity.

Due to later start than usual for a nonvoy our normal 'enthusiastic' driving style will need to be tempered a bit

I'll be in the Chimaera and Miss Notax in her Elise

N.B. I will not post the route in advance for obvious reasons... but as those of you who have been on them before will know - it should be a good one

I have spoken to the organiser of the above event today - the hypercars are making their own way to the event along a secret route and he suggested that we arrive at around 11.15 to enable us to park up and watch them arrive at midday. Please note I have edited the arrival times, suggesting we now meet at Rownhams at 9.30am and leave at 9.45am.

He also warned that to make the organisers lives easier they MAY charge all of us £5 entry whether we see the top 100 or not. At the end of the day it is all for charity so hopefully this won't put anyone off!

Hi Chris i have suggested to the usual South Coasters to join your group , but there is a concern as to the route hopefully you are planing a none M-way fun hoon , not all of us drive TVR's so we don't mind a few bends in a road

Hi John,

Great to see you are joining us You'll be pleased to hear that the m-way will be kept to the absolute minimum

I know the area very well and intend to use a route with a bit of everything - I'm intending to take an hour to get to the destination so we will be able to fit in a decent drive

My TVR likes bends (except the one linking the A272 to the A3 )
