Modern Warfare 2's Prestige Edition includes fully functioning night vision goggles!!!
They say it should be about $149.99, so prob £150 in England! but hopefully more like £80.

Flashbang time hehe

I think I'll get the Hardened edition. Can't see it being massively more and you get the DLC for COD1 and what looks like a half interesting book on the development of the game.

Complete waste of cash IMO, those 'goggles' will be poor at best, LED technology I think, even night vision goggles costing hundreds are bad.

Anyway, I'll need to buy 2 copies of Modern Warfare 2 anyway. Cheapest I've found it is £35.

Anyone think Asda will do the same as they did with COD5 and release it for £27? smile

Go on then, spill the beans as to where you can get it for £35...

No chance of Asda doing that. All retailers will be able to sell all they can get their hands on.

Ah, yes I've seen this but wasn't sure about ordering from Argos and getting it on release day.

Good article on MW2...

article said:
Bowling said the new game's enemies have "dynamic AI," meaning that they are designed to act more independently of what the designers map out. He said a player could expect them to be more sensitive to gamer behavior, going beyond the flanking and cover strategies of the enemies in the first game to break their patrol routes, or take to roofs. They're smarter. And they will adapt enough that a Modern Warfare 2 player won't be able to rely on the enemies being in the same places and doing the same things each time they play a level.
Sounds very very good!

Sounds like a nightmare on veteran though, learning a route through that plane in under a minute was hard enough, nevermind doing it when they're in different places every time!

So what versions are people buying?

Don't want/need the NVGs, so Normal or Hardened... but is COD1 and a book worth £20-25?
