Please can someone help.

I have had my first tvr ('94 Griff 500) for about 4 weeks now and having a few problems. I have been losing the fluid from the clutch. At the weekend I replaced the master cylinder seals and bled the system. After a test drive all seemed fine. The next morning I get in and there is no clutch again - just a pool of fluid under the car. I presume the slave cylinder seals need doing.

Can anyone tell me if the seal kit for the slave is the same sp2102 as the master cylinder or does anyone know the part numbers for the slave itself? -Please tell me the slave is easier to do than the master cylinder seals which I had to do 'insitu'.

Any help would be greatfully recieved.

Seal kit is different. Do a search on recent threads as the part number did come up recently.

Having problems posting a pick at the mo. Its the same as the AB Griff you speak of on the other posts. I bought it from an ad in PH. Mathews old one.

I'll try and post a pick again later.

Thanks for the replies so far though, I just need to source the part number now.

Just take a lot of care when removing it and putting it back - it is possible to knock off the plastic retaining clip. This then means dropping the gearbox to get it out again. Details in the bible.

That car looks lovely. Well done.

Fotango is easy for posting pics.
Allternately hit the quote button on this post to see how I posted this pic of your Griff. (or better still just click on "formatting codes" after you have pressed "quote" or "post reply")

Dow!! I've ordered the part number I saw on another post - the Lucas sp4190. On collection of the part they told me (Lucas) that this part number has been replaced by the sp2029. Got home took the slave off and its different, the seals in my slave are bigger.

On my slave cylinder it says 'ap' on the side too as in ap racing I presume - does anyone know if there is a replacement seal kit for this????

Gutted my car is on axle stands untill I can get this sorted.
