Most of us already know Vauxhall prices for brake discs are high. Monkfish do them for much less.

Bloody hell, you may as well have a new set of AP's for £2060. That's racing brakes disc's, pads and shiny red calipers. If your thinking of getting any performance mods in the future you may as well pay for the best now
Back to the question of running costs, we had BMW and Porsche before the Monaro and other than fuel and road tax, the cost of servicing and parts is very reasonable.

Hi mate i have put a link. on ur last topic with the EBC part numbers. u are looking at roughly £150 for discs for ur car and you can get them from euro car parts. i put EBC discs on ma own car this week with yellow stuff pads, and i have supplied a full set of discs and pads for a CV8 VXR. hope this helps mate

Cheers

Simon

If there are the same as a 2004 CV8 then I have a brand new set sitting in my garage. purchased from Oz but by the time they got here I was wearing AP's. soon to be a Rapid GB's.

2004 vxr has uprated brakes over the 04 cv8 model, somewhere between the 05 cv8 and the 06 vxr specs iirc
