By pure accident. Drove an new RS4 in Reading and thought very nice and "brisk", put deposit down to hold whilst I sold my turbo busa to fund it. Ended up selling the bike 2 weeks later, got to the dealers after they had been very coy on the phone only to be told they had sold the car to someone else! Not happy. Thought it must have been for a reason so decided to drive a few other cars in that price range and got hold of Greens to see if they had a "vxr500" I could have a go in. They said they had one coming in a few weeks but I could drive the MD's vxr600... only one made, it was not actually for sale but would be in the near future, I went down there, took it out and thought f
k me this is fast! did the deal there and then and came down the following week to pick it up.
Whilst I have been in a few other makes of fast cars which have been better built or better trimed inside I have yet to experiance the raw shove mine still gives me!
Hence I still have it really which for me is a long time now! The club also encourages me to keep it as most people are really nice.

Not sure about only one though - did they not do a Ute at the same time that Vauxhall used to take to shows? Brian was working for Wortec last I heard so I guess if he's still there he will probably be able to give more info. VXR600 as a model though I dont think is technically valid - or is that what its described as on the V5, thought it was just Brian that badged it as that?

so its a wortec vauxhaul thing notin to do with GM
It was a partnership between the two at the time - similair to pro-drive and Subaru really but on a more limited scale. No V5 says VXR500/600 or anything more than VXR, all I have as people with VXR500 models is paperwork from VX stating that the model is a VXR600 and that all modifications were covered by a VX warentee. Mines no different from someone who adds all the mods apart from the fact that mine seems to benefit from alot more developement and mapping - ie: no overheating issues, limp modes, engine issues etc etc. Hence fast at the strip and V Max with no issues.S600VXR said:

The car had a 122 intercooled unit fitted from the start. And had the 19, fitted as standard, and the ute was a vxr600 as well. me and caspy had a lot
fun making this car. as it was like a competition with my old cv8 5.7 and his 6.0 vxr.

Certainly an amazing job on the detailing - I know black cars are the worst for showing marks but you can really see the difference in those photos.Roger, Getting my arches rolled next week instead of cut, Im using this company http://www.archenemy.co.uk/ when you got yours done did you just have them just rolled or flared as well?
