Okely dokely, here we'll plan the big meet, as per the title, obviously.

  • Thinking August/September time.
  • Absolutely anyone is invited, as long as they're not a cock and don't "drive" a micra.
  • Will be a meet up and get to know people event, make your own way there, eat lunch, talk lots, take pics and vids.
  • Suggestions for the venue welcome once we know what sort of numbers we'll have.
Let us know if you're intending on coming along and i'll add you to the list smile

Just looking at the other forums calendar to make sure we don't clash again, there's a good opportunity to infact clash.

13th September, Cars in the Park at Harewood House.

It's open to everybody, not too far away and is just the sort of event i'm thinking of. Yay or nay?

Now that sounds good, can have a canny convoy down too though it'll mostly be Motorway/A-Roads I guess.

I'll tentatively say I'm in but I'm due to go to Germany with work in September so I'm hoping this doesn't clash frown

Are there any hood roads between here and cars in the park though?

Wherever and whenever it is, I'm most certainly 'in'.

And just to keep the Ol's at the top of the list:

Check out Harewood House car meets on here, I think you'll find traffic in and out is a little bit of a problem
Might have been on Yorks Centre forum.

All roads within a 10 mile radus of Harewood are cack. Or at any rate, they are unless you drive them at 2AM. Otherwise it's a procession of tractors, school-runners and wimmin in cars that are just too bloody big for them rolleyes
Overtakes are few and far between and whenever you COULD go for it, there's a double white line.
I was down that way yesterday (flying a heli tongue out) and I may as well have been in a Trabant for all the use the TVR was in the queues. Still, I looked good and as usual it was fun to see all the bimbos in the passenger seats of their husbands' expensive cars ogling my old heap hehe
